Seattle Chill

Recently, we popped over to Seattle for a weekend both to visit my sister and to get a feel of the property market. While we don't have plans to buy anything this year, my dream has always been to have a few properties in a few different locations and Seattle is definitely one. I love that it's such an up and coming city, but there's also a huge emphasis on the outdoors.

While it wasn't exactly cold (summer is taking its time leaving the west coast), there were definitely a few moments where there was enough of a chill in the air for me to justify wearing one of my new favorite Fall coats. This season, I actually made a wardrobe game plan and when it comes to coats, my focus is on three different colors: One black, one pink (for color), and one camel.  This camel coat is exactly what I was looking for! It's a wool blend and more on the minimalistic side. I also love the length - it looks great with jeans and sneakers, but it's also a great length to pair with a shorter dress and tights about a month from now.

And of course, I had to top the whole thing off with accessory overload. It seems that the simpler the clothing, the more fixated on accessories I become!

What's on your shopping list for outerwear this season?
