SANTA BARBARA: DAY 3

One place we really loved exploring when we were in Santa Barbara was the Sunken Gardens at the Courthouse. While it's still a working courthouse, it's also one of the most beautiful buildings and has incredibly gorgeous, expansive gardens.  There's a sense of history that lingers throughout the interior, fully accentuated by beautiful tile work and wood beam ceilings. But what I think I might have loved best were the nooks and crannies scattered around the lush greenery in the garden. We could have easily hung around the garden for days, slipping into one of the many alleyways whenever we got too hot. Next time, we're definitely planning a picnic!
