A TUSCAN WEDDING: SHE SAID YES

When my sister sent me a text from Italy where she was vacationing (for seemingly weeks on end) with her girlfriend that consisted of the words 'I said yes' and a photo of a breathtakingly beautiful diamond ring accented with champagne diamonds, I did what any loving sister would do. I interrupted their romantic moment immediately, harassed them both for proposal details, threatened to cry, and bullied my sister into telling me I was her maid of honor. And then promptly got thee to a Pinterest board for a 3 hour downward spiral of wedding cakes, tabletops, veils, and everything else that comes with the territory. 

I've already self-proclaimed myself to be the Maid of Honor-zilla (they're taking it well) - and kind of rightfully so, considering that they pretty much hijacked my 10-year wedding anniversary party plans for next year, pushing them aside with their plans for a Tuscan wedding. But it's cool - luckily for them, I've got about 3-4 years of imaginary wedding party planning under my belt - and now, it's all to their advantage. 

What we know so far? It's going to be rustic chic, in Tuscany, and I'm going to need a lot of waterproof mascara. Oh - and we seem to have similar wedding taste, which is making the process extremely fun! Here are a few inspo images I've been collecting so far.
