Beauty Review: What We're Using Right Now
One of our favorite things to do is to talk beauty with friends. Our conversations aren't exactly the same type of content that we post here, but we share so much information that I thought it might be cool to share what we’re currently using in our everyday beauty routines and why we love them.
See below for what products I'm currently using, what I'm using them for, and why I love them (or why I don't).
ALGENIST GENIUS Ultimate Anti-Aging Vitamin C Serum:
This is one of those products you look forward to applying - not just because it feels super luxurious when you apply it, but also because you know what it's going to do for you. We tend to hyper-pigment in certain areas - especially around the eyes (thanks mom) and this serum works super well to help fade that hyper-pigmentation - it also has helped with fine lines and wrinkles and protects from free radicals. It's the first thing we apply after washing my face in the morning and one of the things we look forward to almost as much as coffee... If you're looking for a product that does any of the below, this one seriously works.

We’ve only heard good things about peptides and have been a longtime fan of retinol - and this product has both! The thing we love about this product is that somehow, it tackles our top 4 concerns: pigmentation, acne, fine lines and wrinkles. Because of the retinol, we only apply this at night - and often do every other night as our facialist recently told us that with retinol, you don't have to apply it every day for it to continuously work. Oh and bonus - it's bio-organic!

We love that this scrub exfoliates in more than one way. Physically, it feels like a true, gentle scrub. But it also has salicylic acid to help exfoliate and tighten your pores - which is why we like to gently scrub for about 1-2 minutes before washing off. Use it 2-3 times a week in the evening. It really helps prep your skin for everything else and we’ve noticed a big difference in preventing our skin from being congested - huge bonus! And FYI - COSMEDIX is one of those brands where every product is consistently good. We’ve used them for years and have no intention of stopping...
