THE CUL-DE-SAC EXPERIENCE: MODERNISM WEEK FALL PREVIEW 17
What is it about peering into someone's life that is so appealing? Whatever that appeal is, it was magnified and multiplied at the Cul-De-Sac Experience at Modernism Week Fall Preview. After writing about it here, I was so thrilled that I was able to make it!
The tour itself did not disappoint, with William Krisel signature details around every corner, from the pop up, umbrella gable roofs and clerestory windows galore, 60's inspired wallpaper and furniture, breeze blocks of all kinds, and of course, those gorgeous, mint conditioned cars.
I accidentally ended up dressing the part to a degree, with my little 60's inspired shift from Caviar Status, round, white Pradas, and block-heeled Maryam Nassir Zadeh's - and I wasn't the only one either! With all the docents also dressed the part (and even a few models to boot), it really did feel like you were stepping back into another era. More to come from Modernism Week Fall Preview!

Tienlyn
