HOW TO LAYER A JUMPSUIT
While I'd love to spend time putting together a carefully layered look on a daily basis, I don't often have the time or energy. However, when it comes to jumpsuits, nothing is easier for layering. Especially when you have a jumpsuit as badass as this one, from definitely one of my latest favorite labels, LA-based line 34N 118 W. Below are my 3 favorite types of shirts to layer under a jumpsuit and why:
1. Pussy Bow Blouse: With a neck detail like this, you're guaranteed to instantly look not only pulled together, but like you've put some serious thought into your total look. That, or you're a natural genius - take your pick! Try it tied like how I have in these photos, or undone for a more off-duty look.
2. White CrewneckTee: A white tee looks so good under a jumpsuit, but it also looks amazing under nearly any sleeveless dress (and even shirts). Plus, it's a great way to start wearing your warm-weather pieces when the weather isn't quite there yet.
3. Black Turtleneck: This is just totally elegant, albeit best left for cooler weather. However, it's the best way to make your summer staples work just as hard all year long - so a good style trick to keep in mind, as well as a strong argument for investing a little more cash into a higher quality summer item. After all, you'll get twice the wear!
