NYFW DAY 1: ROOFTOP PAPARAZZI
This NYFW was a little different than most, with a large portion of time and effort being funneled into producing a project for Sassoon (which I can't wait to share more of soon).
One thing I've learned from past NYFW's is that no matter how tempting it might be to rock a pair of seriously statement high high heels, the pain and torture that inevitably accompanies is just not worth it. This year, I went for effortless dresses with my favorite, worn-in Vans. And guess what - it was the perfect combo for running around in the city like a madwoman.
I also let my hair go natural - something I rarely do, but am starting to embrace more and more as I learn how to manage it. Besides, with the humidity the way it currently is on the east coast, there's really no other choice.
We shot these on my friend's rooftop in Chelsea while we were taking arial drone shots for the video. I've never been big on drones, but after seeing what it can shoot, I am now a total fan and kind of want one myself!
xx,
Tienlyn
