Lately, I've really been getting a kick out of dressing a little 'off' for wherever it is I'm going. For example, adding a serious statement necklace (like my latest obsession from Jenny Bird, you'll be seeing a lot of this choker this season) to an otherwise perfectly casual spring outfit.

The result? Those whatever moments we often forget even happen take on a different kind of significance - they become cinematic, or part of a bigger story. The everyday takes on a breath of romance, and we're able to savor even the mundane. Add in a little silk, like this gorgeous slip of a cami Lulu's sent me a week back or so, and we may even be transported to an entirely different life altogether...
