RED DRESS FOR SUMMER

Summer heat can pretty much cripple a wardrobe unless you've prepared ahead - and after being introduced to the extreme heat of summer in the desert, I've been carefully planning ahead for the coming months. This means searching for pieces that will stay light, crisp, and effortless, even when you're completely melting, like I most likely will be come June.

I already know I'm also taking this dress with me on our upcoming trip to Hawaii, and that it will be on regular rotation for as long as possible. Why? Because unlike a lot of other summer dresses, this is one where you get to feel the breeze on your skin without having to expose 80% of your flesh. It covers everything it needs to, but it's still fresh and flirty. It has also sparked a savage obsession for me to find more dresses like it - dresses that you can just throw on and go, but that actually make you look and feel like a real lady. Whatever that is...
