RESORT TO FALL

While I will always prefer warm weather, I don't like the idea of buying things I have to stash away for months on end. And as I've mentioned before, since our summer goes on for an extra few months on either end, loading up on resort wear makes total sense. I've found that recently, I only gravitate towards resort pieces that I can wear in winter too. This outfit, for example. The wide legs and stripes make these pants easy to wear with a sweater and ankle boots. The top is a great holiday season option that I'd probably wear with dark, high waisted denim for every day, or with a high waist skit for a more dressy look. They're neutral colors with timeless details - but they have that effortless flow of the easy living.

We're spending this weekend in Palm Desert as Nikko has the Footgolf championships. I'm excited to explore this area even more - it already houses one of my favorite restaurants and my favorite fashion consignment store in the desert. I'm hoping to dig into more interior design resources while I'm there, as we're slowly starting to piece together The Buckminster House. If anyone has any suggestions, would love to hear them!

xx,

Tienlyn
