Because we have so many trips planned nearly back to back, I had so much more to do than usual before we left. After a quick run, I spent the morning writing emails and slotting projects on the calendar and the early afternoon running errands - picking up some really cool pieces for Cactus Mountain, two bank runs, paying parking tickets (oops), and making several last minute travel purchases. And after grabbing a very necessary juice and travel snacks from Whole Foods, we came across this cute little walk way and decided to snap a few photos before heading home to pack.

I'm such a fan of a white maxi dress. You can dress it up or you can dress it down, and it's just as comfy as your favorite pair of worn-in jeans. Especially on a super hot day when you're running around like a madwoman, and especially when you've already packed those jeans! 

P.S. We just touched down in New York and it is POURING! Totally not prepared. And I have no idea what I'm wearing tomorrow now, considering all the shoes I packed are leather or suede. Thank God for Uber, right?
