TRAVEL DIARY: MADERAS VILLAGE IN NICARAGUA
As I'm finally pulling together our Nicaragua photos (there are so many!!), I wanted to share this batch from Maderas Village (in San Juan del Sur) in Nicaragua. This was the first place we stayed out of two. From the two floor (treehouse) cabin we stayed in, to their expansive yoga studio, to the open air common area that doubled as a communal dining room at night, to the short jungle walk down to the most gorgeous beach, the entire place is almost like its own little world. A world that's both visually gorgeous and filled with amazingly creative and talented, wonderful people.
Speaking of which, while we were there, we ended up shooting with so many incredible people. It's not everyday you strip down to your skivvies (Knix Wear, obvs), do a little yoga, play a little croquet, and play on the beach with a bunch of new friends, but that's actually a pretty good summary of what makes Maderas Village so awesome. More photos to come soon...
xx,
Tienlyn
