This is a very special post to me, not just because I love Salvation Mountain, or because I can't stop living in this dress, but because we shot this look right after getting some incredible news - news that I have been hinting at but have struggled to keep to myself for the last few weeks, until it was official official.

We shot this look right after we received the news that our offer for a very special mid century cabin in Joshua Tree got accepted! The whole time we shot this look, I felt like I was floating on air. And then then today, we finally closed on the property!

So what's the plan? We're spending the next few months giving our beloved new cabin both a redesign and a facelift before turning it into both a home away from home as well as a rental. Nikko and I always work so well together on renovations. I like to say that he's the brains, and I'm the butterfly, flitting around, adding my personal touches. But for this one, I'm going to be getting a lot more hands on - and I'm planning on sharing a LOT of the process here on the blog!

We're spending this weekend packing up and gathering supplies for the next two weeks as we start the reno. I'm a little bit nervous, but most just really excited. There's so much to do, and I can't wait to share our adventure with you!

xx,

Tienlyn
