Tweed Matters

I've been craving fall foliage, but it's still a little hard to come by on this side of the country so slightly golden leaves will have to do for now.  At least it's cool enough in the early mornings and evenings for a fall coat! Perfect for my current preppy inclination. There's just something about tweeds and starched collars that go so well with this time of year... 

My biggest investments usually happen around this time of year as Fall/Winter items get so much wear that it just makes sense to spend a little more. On my list this year (so far) are: over-the-knee-boots, a few warm coats (this Pink Tartan one is my warmest go-with-everything atm), a camel cashmere scarf, and non-seasonly related, a pair of D'Orsay pumps.
