WORK READY CASUAL

There's something so aspirational about clothes you can wear for the office. They're tailored, smart, and in theory, incredibly functional. They're also often made up of classic staples - which is something I can never get enough of.

But considering that I no longer work in an office, and that I have a huge penchant for casual-izing everything, utilizing my office-ready items requires a completely different approach.

I love the idea of taking classic work trousers and adding sandals for a juxtaposition of attitude. Or taking a chambray shirt that I would usually wear with either cut-offs, jeans, or around my waist, and turning it into an off-the-shoulder look that feels both totally effortless and, dare I say it, even resort like.

The perfect look for meandering about Palm Springs on a surprisingly not-that-hot day, doing our favorite thing to do - getting lost and discovering new nooks and crannies we didn't even realize were there.

How about you? Do you keep your work items separate from the rest of your wardrobe or do you work them in altogether?

xx,

Tienlyn
