To say I'm excited for Chinese New Year might be the understatement of a lifetime - I can't wait for the year of the Fire Monkey to be over, which was scattered, intense, and overall exhausting. Fire Rooster years, on the other hand, are supposed to be years where hard work and solid plans pay off - the perfect way to tackle the mess that the Fire Monkey has left behind. 

Because we won't be with family this CNY, we'll be celebrating mostly by eating as many 'good luck' foods as possible, including fish and noodles, of course.
