GO NORTH
It's been really nice to spend the rest of the weekend and the first half of this week with friends and family in the Bay Area, even if it is a little colder than Joshua Tree. I hit most of my favorites - from Café de la Presse, to a quick visit to Sassoon Salon, to my favorite hole-in-the-wall sushi spot in Palo Alto, to meandering on University, and of course, checking in on The Anderson Collection.
It's crazy how just a few days away from all the work we've been doing on The Joshua Tree Geodome and The Buckminster House can truly be a serious reset. Any time we feel like we need a break, we go north - and it works every single time. I think I'm officially ready to get back and hit the ground running, which is great, since we'll be down there for a while this time, working on the houses as well as a few other cool projects.. this year started rough, but it's starting to look better and better... especially with Chinese New Year just around the corner!

P.S. For those of you who attended or supported the Women's March, my loves at Verité Published came out with a great post-march plan for continuing to make change. Women's March also has a great 10 actions for the first 100 days plan that is worth looking into as well!
