Sephora Inside JCPENNEY: The Best Of Ole Henriksen

My first introduction to Ole Henriksen was through their vitamin C-infused products which, quite frankly, blew my mind. In fact, Ole Henriksen was actually my first introduction to the benefits of vitamin C for the skin in general. So when I found out that Sephora inside JCPenney has a massive collection of Ole Henriksen products, not to mention their highly covetable vitamin C products, I couldn’t help but indulge a bit.
These little jars of wonder have been a total delight. I’ve been using them every morning and have been loving the results - especially as a way to keep that post-summer skin looking glowy and radiant long after the summer sun starts to fade…
Here’s a little breakdown of each product and what I love about them…
This stuff is worth its weight in gold. Powered by three high-potency sources of vitamin C and Rose of Winter, expect your skin to instantly look brighter as well as look brighter over time. It’s also super hydrating (as you may have guessed by now is non-negotiable for me in any kind of cream). Plus, it helps improve your makeup application and extend makeup wear! Perfect for getting that gorgeous glow we all love - but can be somewhat difficult to achieve when applying a full face of makeup. I also love to apply this and then pop on a little concealer where I need it - and call it a day. It brings out your best features and enhances the texture of your skin.
My eye creams of choice are usually the kind that brighten while hydrating and attacking fine lines and wrinkles - and that’s exactly what Ole Henriksen’s Banana Bright Eye Creme does (it’s packed with Collagen and Vitamin C). Plus, it contains special pigments that instantly brighten and color-correct the eye area - perfect for under makeup, or for those days where you want that luminous look without makeup…
Quite possibly my favorite product in the bunch, the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum is like a daily multivitamin for the skin - which makes complete sense, when you think about it. We all know the benefit of multivitamins, so it’s a logical conclusion to assume a multivitamin for the face (you know, that thing we present to the world first and foremost?) would be incredibly beneficial as well. This baby is chock full of Ole Henriksen’s True-C Complex and collagen, and helps brighten and firm as well as deliver all-day hydration. Plus, it smells crazy good, which never hurts…
While there is always some kind of Vitamin C product in my beauty arsenal, my preferred routine incorporates it in more than one way - which is why I really love using these three products in tandem.
